The Star Wars community has been creating millions of pages worth of fan fiction and user-generated content for half a century —  all of which are passionate expansions of the galaxy. Not canon. Not tracked. And no reward for its creators.

At the same time, thousands of hours of official films, shows, books, and comics have been created. The franchise has become so dense that even the most devoted fans struggle to keep up. New viewers? Too intimidated to even get started.

It is a lose-lose. Creators contribute endlessly, but never own or monetize their work, while audiences increasingly face “franchise fatigue,” drowning in content they can’t easily follow.

This is where ATLAS comes in.

ATLAS is the first AI-powered product released by Emergence and the central computing unit of Fountainview. We’ve built ATLAS to be the conduit for anyone (master of the deep lore or first-time explorer) to easily jump right into Emergence and start creating.

ATLAS is a creative partner, a storyteller, and a tool that makes building within Emergence easier, more intuitive, and more rewarding.

Atlas is Unlike Anything Before

Generative AI continues to evolve, thriving as a tool, a teacher, and a toy. But no implementation of AI has successfully combined all three into a single experience that is as fun as it is enlightening, as useful as it is rewarding.

ATLAS does exactly that.

For the first time, a universe-building AI exists to not only understand this fictional world better than any outsider, but to remember, track, and reward every contribution.

Unlike generic AI models that scrape together fragmented knowledge from the web, ATLAS is trained exclusively on Emergence. ATLAS is more than a content generator, it is a highly skilled, highly specific collaborator, evolving alongside the stories, characters, and worlds you create. 

Everything ATLAS generates in collaboration with the community is recorded onchain, keeping a transparent, trackable history of all IP developed in the universe. ATLAS will keep a living record of everything created in Emergence, preserving the universe’s evolution, and paving the way for future innovation.

Soon, ATLAS will become a creative powerhouse, equipped with advanced tooling to generate visuals, music, and even scripted sequences. We plan to integrate a variety of creative software to allow for AI-assisted image generation, music composition, and video synthesis. Today, ATLAS can post autonomously, tell stories, create riddles for our fanbase, and spark discussions about future creative opportunities. A 24/7 storyteller, actively expanding the world in real-time.

The World's First "GMUD"

A GMUD — or Generative Multi-User Dungeon — is an evolution from text-based role playing games, where players explore worlds, engage in storytelling, and interact in real time. Traditionally, these have been manually built and static. GMUDs generate new content dynamically, allowing players to expand the universe themselves, creating persistent locations, characters, events and histories that become part of the world for everyone. Two related examples: Dwarf Fortress, where history is procedurally generated and remembered, or AI Dungeon, where AI adapts to every narrative choice. ATLAS takes this further. Your stories, discoveries, and artifacts are not just temporary playthings. They can become lore. They can be minted, collected, and built upon.

Whether you want to add to the lore with your own narratives or simply play in the sandbox, ATLAS is designed to meet you where you are. Interactions contribute to future training, continuously upgrading the capabilities of ATLAS.
